Hello! Welcome to the online home of me, Tracey Murphy. (Traceymchildminder)

I am a Childminder based in Kirkby in Ashfield, Notts.

I hope the website answers all of your questions, but please feel free to give me a ring. Sometimes personal is better! Please see the 'contact me' tab for details. Thanks.

I am a highly trained childminder who has been within the education setting for the past 25 years offering me vast experience of children's needs. Please look at my 'All About Me' page for more details. My husband, who works with me as my part-time assistant and business manager, worked in Primary School teaching for over 25 years before joining me in the business.

I am fully OFSTED and PACEY registered and have undertaken numerous courses to ensure the safety and enjoyment of your child's stay with me.

My most recent OFSTED report ( Dec 2019 ) shows the overall quality of provision to be good with outstanding features!

*We are accepting the new 15-30 Government childcare free hours scheme vouchers.

*9 months-4 Yr old FREE places (15-30 hours) registered as provided by Notts County Council and all neighbouring Councils.

For a 3 or 4 yr old, most people don't realise that when their child goes to Nursery that is a funded place. We are registered to also accept the funding so if you'd prefer to not use a nursery or maybe they are full or aren't doing an intake at the moment, we can help with no cost to you!

*We currently take some of our holidays during the school holiday periods so we may not be available to care on all of the school holiday closures.

*Highly experienced. With my husband working within the business we have a combined child-based experience of over 40 Years+

*Guaranteed high ratio of adult to child meaning we will never take on lots and lots of children. We believe children thrive in a smaller group.

I am a Forest Childcare Provider and I believe that spending time outdoors is very important. The children go outdoors here every day, at least once a day, no matter what the weather because I believe that fresh air and wide-open spaces are good for them! We have a fully enclosed back garden that the children can access whenever they want. But we also live near to lovely parks, woodland areas and nature reserves and we visit one of these places about once a week.
